| Prima Innovation Ltd is not like other Intellectual Property development businesses. For a start, we find the terms knowledge and know-how far less frightening than IP, plus developing knowledge and know-how is not the only thing we do and it isn’t our primary source of income. We see many intriguing ideas for new products and services. Some of them have real commercial potential and some are just nuts. We like it that way.
To us, the important thing is that there is an opportunity for people with innovative ideas to talk about them, get some support and encouragement to take them to the next level. We don’t have all the answers when it comes to commercialisation, but when we don’t, we know who to talk to and we will go out of our way to get the right people talking. To many people, research suggests a bunch of dusty old academics trolling through ancient books and files and scientists studying bat droppings. Research means something different to Prima Innovation Ltd. It means the opportunity to partner with a variety of academic and industry partners to discover new ways of solving problems that businesses encounter every day. We aren’t in the business of blue sky pure research. We are in the problem solving business.
